My heart goes out Bev's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. I know all too well that losing a loved one, especially an immediate family member, is one of life's toughest experiences, no matter if it comes suddenly or after they battled a long illness. 

I only knew Bev as a nearby neighbor in the last year of her life, but I didn't even need to know her well to adore her. She was that bright of a light, even in her darkest hours! Yes, she was a bit loud (lol!), but more often than not, when I heard her, she was making one of the neighborhood kids smile by gleefully greeting them or cheering them on, gushing over someone's cute dog or just saying "Hello!" to someone walking by. Even though she was so sick and slowly losing a grueling battle, she never stopped leading with love. I will never forget her, the kind things she said to me or her lasting impact.

To Bev’s Family

My condolences to Mrs. Friday, Denise, Joanne and Bev’s children and grands.

I first met Bev in elementary school. Since Bev and I were taller, we were always in the back of the line together at all the May Processions and Weekly mass walks. She had an infectious laugh and always wanted to have fun. We got in trouble once in a while. After I had a bad accident in high school we didn’t hang out any longer. I missed our belly laughs that would have tears coming out of our eyes. 

Sounds like she had a wonderful life and loving family. God is good.
