Beverly's obituary
Beverly Louise Rega-White (née Senf)
October 12, 1936 – December 8, 2025
Beverly Louise Rega-White, lovingly known as Beverly, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, in New Braunfels, Texas, surrounded by dear friends who took turns holding her hands until the very end.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Harriet Senf, and her beloved brother, Buzz Senf. She is survived by her sisters, Linda Grieve (the late James Grieve) and Lori Harvey (the late Mike Harvey), as well as her sister-in-law, Marge Senf, widow of Buzz Senf. Beverly also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Beverly was first married to Paul Rega, with whom she raised four children, Paul Rega, Mark Rega (wife, Kim), Robyn Rega Panko (husband, Mel), and Michael Rega (wife, Kim). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and joy.
Her grandchildren include Paul Rega (wife Kristi, children Gianna and Jace), Ryan Rega (son Logan), Daniel Rega (wife Samantha, children Jovie, Callum, and Chandler), Nathan Rega (daughter Mia), Mikayla Panko, and Marissa Panko Ingram (husband Jackson). Beverly treasured her family deeply and delighted in every milestone, story, and family gathering.
Later in life, Beverly made her home in New Braunfels, Texas, where she and her husband, Gerald, owned and operated a beloved bed and breakfast, The White House. For many years, guests returned not only for the charming home, but for Beverly herself—her warmth, conversation, and truly fantastic cooking left a lasting impression on all who stayed with her.
One of Beverly's life-long passions was world travel. She traveled to Europe many times, all over the Caribbean and United States, Mexico, and had amazing stories of Asia and her trip to Hong Kong with dear friends. She was also the keeper of the Senf/Rega family genealogy--spending countless hours researching birth and marriage records, regaling us with uncovered stories of hundreds of years of our growing family tree.
Beverly lived an active and joyful life up until very recently. She was an avid reader and loved playing tennis, gardening, playing games and staying busy. She cherished her circle of friends, spending countless hours on the tennis court, celebrating birthdays, and hosting or attending dinners with her close-knit dinner group. Friendship came easily to Beverly, and she made everyone feel welcome.
Known for her kindness, playful spirit, and caring heart, Beverly had beautiful blue-green eyes that sparkled when she smiled—a smile so bright and genuine that people often commented on it. She was silly at times, endlessly loving, and truly unforgettable. Beverly was loved by everyone who met her, and she will be remembered for the joy and warmth she brought into so many lives.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A celebration of life honoring Beverly will be planned for the spring of 2026.
