Meme was always such a kind person. Whenever I was younger and would go to her house, she would make sure I was comfortable and happy, putting on shows, making me my favorite food, and playing games with me. She was always there to split a cream cheese bagel and have a lap to sit on. Even when I was older I had a happy tingly sensation when around her. She was such a wonderful daughter, friend mother,  grandmother, great grandmother and so much more.
Words cannot describe how important Meme was to me. She always knew how to make me feel special and loved, from her food, to her kisses and hugs, to just her words, like calling me her little "Georgia Peach" or always reminding me I was "Meme's girl." As I grew up and had a child of my own, it was such a pleasure to see my Meme treat my kid with the same love and tenderness that always made me feel safe and loved growing up. I know my Meme to be hard-working, self-less, a leader, loving, humorous (when the moment called for it), generous and wise. She cared deeply for the ones she loved and would do anything for them. It has been an honor to be in that select company and I'll forever treasure my memories of being with Meme, from sitting in her lap, having her take care of me when I was sick, kisses on the forehead before being tucked in at sleepovers at Meme and Papa's, how she would wind up the music box for me over and over so I could hear the birds sing again and again, how she would smile from the kitchen as Papa played another game with us in the living room, cooking Divinity and fudge, her unparalleled " Meme's breakfast", hugs greeting and goodbye, and that embrace of pride you couldn't get anywhere else, that transported me back to being that little girl, no matter my age. Back to being Meme's girl. I can hear her say it, even now. I don't think I'll ever be able to forget her saying it. I miss you, Meme. I'll always be Meme's girl, and so will Luna.

My daughter Brielle enjoyed spending time with her Meme (Beverly) and Papa when she was little. She wanted to share a few memories she had of Meme. Brielle remembers how every time they would babysit her, Meme always wanted a big hug right as she walked in the door and every time we would leave. She remembers how she would convince Meme to make Papa take her to the “blue” Wal-Mart to go look at toys. Brielle remembers getting her Paw Patrol Lookout Tower for Christmas from Santa when he delivered it to their house and how excited she was to open it up. Brielle remembers going over to their house to watch OU football games and cheering for OU. We all miss her dearly and cherish the memories we all have with her.

Beverly taught me about the Sooner Spirit!! I remember as a kid in the 80's going Oh My at her yelling at the TV...I just hoped the Sooners were going to win, or she was not going to be happy!! I also will never forget the look on her face when we pulled up in the boat at the lake, and the motor was not attached to the boat!! :) Thinking of the family....she will be missed but the memories will help us smile.

I can still hear her voice and her laugh. I think I always will~♥️
This is such a beautiful sentiment and a great representation of Aunt Bev! I will miss her laughter and engagement so much. I will also miss how affectionate she was. Such a strong woman and wonderful aunt! I love you and will miss you Aunt Bev!!
I was overwhelmed when I heard of Bev’s passing.  I met Bev when she came to work at the credit card center.  We instantly became a family.  I remember laughing and joking around.  She made work fun.  I never imagined the world without her and now the world has changed .  My sympathies to Dave and the rest of the family.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Gosh, I still can’t believe she is not with us.  We worked together for many years and have been friends much longer.  There have been so many memories but I will never forget the camping trips, the Illinois river trips and especially watching OU football games, but the OU and OSU football games were a little different. We sure could give Bev a hard time during those games.  Such great times.  She was a dear friend and I will miss her a lot.  Love, prayers for comfort and big hugs to all.
