Personal note

My mom:
-Loved to spoil the grandkids with sweets and toys
-Always had pets and wanted them on her lap each night
-Loved to help someone when they were in need
-Was fanatical about coupons; often called the Coupon Queen by family and friends
-Enjoyed painting ceramics and knitting
-I still have an afghan she knitted me as a kid and will treasure it always
-Liked sitting in her back yard looking at sunsets and the flowers and squirrels
-Loved her parents with all her heart and deeply mourned their deaths and spoke of them all the time
-Always slipped a $5 bill in my hand each day as I went off to school or work
-Loved to make each holiday special by baking tons of goodies and decorating any and everything
-Was known to spoil everyone around Christmas with WAY too many gifts, but it always made her smile to watch us open each gift
-Enjoyed putting on her make up and curling her hair each morning, and my whole life I rarely saw her without make up, even in her final months
-Never went without perfume or body spray ever
-Saved money to buy David and I most all small kitchen appliances, decor and all dinnerware before we married
-Had a very upbeat, chipper personality most all the time
-Loved eggplant, coffee, Good & Plenty, and tuna fish, Wendy's, Chinese food
-ALWAYS called me at the exact time of my birth each year on my birthday (MY WHOLE LIFE) - I will miss that this year.
-Gave the best hugs <3
-Could talk to a brick wall! Was quite the conversationalist and also was a very persuasive person. If she went in somewhere to get a refund, there was going to be no dispute about it... she was always going to come out with that refund money. No doubt about it! She was a take charge person.
