Beverly's obituary
With profound sadness we announce the passing of Beverly Ann Fernandez Hungerford, 81, of Trussville, AL on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.
Our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend was born in Waycross, GA, April 11, 1941, the daughter of Nonnie June and Vincent Daniel Fernandez. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Jerry Dennis Tribble Jr. of Dunedin, FL, and her husband of 54 years, William Mann Hungerford.
Beverly leaves her daughter, Cindy T. Carson of Kenneth City, FL; her son and his wife, William and Heidi Hungerford of Palm Harbor, FL; two grandsons, Shawn, and his wife Amanda, Carson of St. Petersburg, FL and Ashton Hungerford of Palm Harbor, FL; and two great-grandchildren, Elijah and Matilda Carson of St. Petersburg, FL.
Beverly loved to learn. She actively saw her children through college in her 40’s and 50’s while her peers were happy homemakers. Her passion was learning and preserving the social culture of the Polynesian indigenous people from the period of 700-1595AD. She dabbled in needlework, and thoroughly enjoyed the internet. Her world revolved around her husband, and upon his passing took solace in caring for her beloved dog Honey. She greatly loved and was so proud of her entire family. She instilled in them strong values that have served each of them well. Her absence in our world has left a void where she will be dearly missed and be forever in our hearts.
There will be a graveside service at 11 A.M. Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Oakland Cemetery in Waycross, GA. There are no calling hours.
