Beverly's obituary
In Loving Memory of
Beverly Louise Dean Cummings
October 15, 1957 – February 12, 2026
Beverly Louise Dean Cummings was born on October 15, 1957, to Gladys Killins and Joseph Dean. She was born, raised, and spent most of her life in Broward County, Florida—a place she proudly called home. In her final year, she shared her time between Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Valdosta, Georgia, staying close to the family she cherished so deeply.
Beverly was a devoted partner, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She shared a lifelong companionship filled with love and loyalty with Roscoe Kennedy. She was a proud and loving mother to her daughters, Bridgette Kennedy and Britnee Kennedy(Rodney Jackson), who were her greatest accomplishments and her heart’s joy. Her love multiplied with the arrival of her precious grandchildren, Sydney Robinson and Savannah Robinson, who brought light, laughter, and endless happiness into her life.
Anyone who knew Beverly knew she had a gift for laughter. She had a funny, comedic personality that could brighten even the heaviest room. Whether through quick wit, playful teasing, or perfectly timed jokes, she made people feel comfortable, seen, and loved. Her laughter was contagious, and her sense of humor was one of her most beautiful trademarks. She believed in finding joy in everyday moments and never missed an opportunity to make someone smile.
She is also survived by her siblings: Gary Dean, Sharon Copeland, Wendy Chambers, Brenda Howard, Linda Turner, Sylvia Turner, and Gwendolyn McDonald, along with countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends whose lives she touched in lasting ways.
Beverly will be remembered for her strength, her warmth, her unwavering love for her family, and the laughter she so freely gave. Though she is no longer with us physically, her spirit lives on in the stories we share, the smiles she inspired, and the love she planted in all of us.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
