Betty's obituary

Betty Lou Veteto-Cude, of Pocahontas, AR passed on Friday, November 1, 2019 at The Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was 75. She was born on February 16, 1944 in Herget, AR and she attended Jonesboro Public Schools. Betty worked at Penn Athletics in Jonesboro, AR and dedicated herself as a homemaker. A unique soul, Betty was very funny, loving, caring, family oriented and a woman of great strength. Betty is survived by her sons, Rick Formon and Tina Russell of Pocahontas, Doug Formon and his wife Cyndi of Jonesboro. Granddaughters Beth Formon of Caraway, Lindsay Williamson of Jonesboro and Misty Dawn Wells Salem, Indiana. Three brothers, James Veteto and wife Betty of Jonesboro, Bobby Veteto and wife Laura of Trumann and Tim Veteto and wife Michelle of Jonesboro. Great Grandchildren Denton Blair, Harris Williamson, Haiden Williamson, Henry Williamson, Corey Wells and Natalie Wells as well as many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceeded in death by her husband, Jimmy Cude, parents Henry and Jewell Veteto, her two brothers Barnett Veteto and Dewayne Veteto and her two sisters Joyce Riga and Alberta Cambron.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Family Fellowship Baptist Church on Hwy 351 Jonesboro, AR at 10:30 am. Visitation will be at 10:00. Private burial to follow. Memorial donations may be made in Betty’s name to The Phil and Flo Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR.
