Betty's obituary

Betty Ann Teague, age 73, passed away peacefully on June 4th, 2025. She was born on January 2nd, 1952, in Woodbury, New Jersey. Her warmth, strength, and loving spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

She is lovingly survived by her children: Laura Costa, Dawn Brommenschenkel, Heather Damask, Melanie Lacey, Samantha Spence, and Samuel Teague Jr. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to 16 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to 8 great-grandchildren. Betty's legacy of kindness, resilience, and unconditional love lives on through each of them.

For over 21 years, Betty proudly served the Borough of Clayton as a dedicated crossing guard. She was a familiar and friendly presence to generations of schoolchildren and families, ensuring their safety each day with care, commitment, and a welcoming smile.

In her free time, Betty found peace and joy sitting on the beaches of Wildwood, New Jersey, listening to the waves and soaking in the sun. She also cherished her time in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she enjoyed the simplicity and charm of the countryside.

A woman of quiet strength and deep compassion, Betty was the heart of her family. She found joy in life’s simple moments, and her wisdom, laughter, and grace will be dearly missed.

Betty Ann Teague’s memory will remain a constant source of strength, warmth, and inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
