I cant possibly feel like i could write enough to begin to memorialize Betty, She was a gmom and a mom at times to me,i remeber going thru hurrican gloria w her and Dawn,and the door blew open and i truly thought betty was my hero for running to that doir and shutting it,i remeber her telling me right from wrong in a way that I listened too. Thats when i was 5,i can go all the way past high school w times we had together,so many nights where it was just her and i up late watching wrestling or charlie chan (she loved him) and we would watch stories together and she would make amazing meals in between ,wow Betty could cook.I could just go on and on ,real quick funny story,I was about 6 and i had a rolled up news paper and asked Betty "what if i hit you" she said "go ahead find out" so adventurously I did,she then did what she has planned and smacked me right back.I never even thought about it again,and she used to tell that story so much even when i was 20 and brought over a girl.She embarrases me alot that day with little Drew stories. I remeber she got me in trouble one time because she asked me to take her to get her numbers,how did I know,lol,Gosh Betty Thank you for being in my life I will forever tell people about this woman who taughts me so much about life.Thank you Betty and my truest condolences to the family I love you guys.
