Elisabeth “Betty” Flack Seybold passed away at the age of 85 on Wednesday, May 1 after a decades-long struggle with COPD and Emphysema. She was a 17-year resident of Westminster at Lake Ridge Senior Living community. Betty was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Mary Flack and her sister MaryEllen Forcucci. She was survived by her sister Jane Fontaine and her husband Didier, her brother-in-law Joe Forcucci, her son Jim Seybold, wife MariAnn, daughter Laura, and her partner John Salinas. She left behind two grandchildren, Jake and Ann Marie Seybold, two nieces Monique Fontaine and Danielle Ventresca, her husband Tom, and three grandnephews Michael, Jack, and Henry Ventresca.

Betty was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA. She graduated from Elizabeth Seton High School and later received her registered nursing degree from Carlow College. She was a psychiatric nurse spending most of her career at May View Hospital. When she retired, she traveled the world. 2007 she moved to Westminster at Lake Ridge in Northern Virginia to be closer to her children. While in residence she participated in the Kitchen Band and the Dining Committee, most of all she loved playing bridge. To honor Betty’s memory please donate to a charity of your choice.
