Betty Paulette Sells, 78,  known as Paulette, Mom, or Mamaw, died peacefully in her  home on December 11, 2022 . She was born February 2, 1944. She was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Margaret Scalf, sister Jean Simerly, and brother Larry Scalf.  Survivors include  her children, Aaron Sells, Judith Bentley (Scottie), David Sells (Amber), and Adam Sells (Angie), her brother Donald Scalf,  as well as six grandsons whom she loved dearly. Paulette was a faithful, selfless woman of Christ. It was her final wishes to have her body donated to The Quillen College of Medicine.

 Services will be held Tuesday December 13, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Blountville TN with Dr. Clay Austin and Rev. Adam Sells officiating. The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm with the service to follow at 7pm. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the student ministry of First Baptist Church of Blountville.
