Betty June Seets, age 67, of Brighton, IL, passed away on March 15, 2024. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Betty was known for her love of watching her grandsons race, enjoying visits to the casinos, and cherishing time spent with her family.

Betty is survived by her husband, John Wayne Seets Sr.; mother, Leona Mae Hyman; son, John (B.J.) Wayne Seets Jr. and his wife April Renee Seets; grandchildren, John Wayne Seets III, Emma M. Seets, Bethany Renee Seets, Austin Mathew Seets, and Chase Ryan Seets; great-grandchildren, Owen Robert Seets and Maci Jane Seets; sister, Jean Watson; sister, Sherry Eyers and her husband Joe Eyers; brother, James Hyman and his wife Tracie Hyman; and brother, Dave Hyman. She was preceded in death by her father, Everett Allen Hyman, and brother, Edward (Eddie) Hyman.

A celebration of life for Betty will be held at the First Baptist Church of Brighton from 4pm-6pm on March 26th, 2024, followed by a small service and prayer before dinner. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Brighton.

Betty will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
