Betty's obituary

At 6:44AM on Monday, August 10th, 2020 Betty Lou Reese slipped from her earthly body to join her mother and father, and 5 siblings. She is survived by her husband Willis Reese Jr, to whom she had been married for over 59 years, her two children Willis III and Suzanne, and her grand children, Ryan, Cory, Jack, Julia, and Jayden.

Betty was born in Okalona Kentucky on January 20th of 1943. Her family moved to St. Petersburg Florida sometime early in her childhood. She eventually attended Mirror Lake Junior High School in St. Petersburg and Boca Ciega High School in Gulfport Florida.

In 1964 she met Air Force Airman First Class Willis Reese Jr. They fell in love and married in 1965. In 1966 they were Blessed with their first child, Willis Reese III, and later a daughter, Suzanne Reese in 1972. As part of a Military family, Betty traveled to Maryland, Panama City, Satellite Bch, Virginia, Trier Germany, Wichita Falls Tx, and finally back to St. Petersburg Florida before moving to her final residence in Spring Hill Florida.

Betty worked for Canteen Vending Services in Wichita Falls TX., AAA in St. Petersburg Florida, and Alied Insurance in Treasure Island Florida.

She was loved by just about every person she ever met and she will be sadly missed as the days pass by us on this earth without her.
