Betty's obituary

My name is Nikki Cook Thomason and I would like to talk about my Mom.  She entered this world November 11, 1951 and left it March 3, 2022.

My mother was an amazing person.  She was my best friend and we were closer than any other Mother Daughter duo that I know of.  We spoke on the phone every night.  Every conversation ended with I love you and take care of you.

My Mom and I had so many inside jokes.  So many funny stories.  We laughed so much.  We were each other's joy.  In 2004 I added my amazing Husband Justin to our lives.  They also shared a lot of love and a wonderful relationship.

My Mom loved animals and especially her many Grandpuppies.  She always loved to see pictures of them and see videos.

My Mom was a kind and gentle person but could be fierce.  She taught me to stand up for myself.  She taught me to stand up for others.  She taught be to believe is myself as she believed in me.

My mom meant the world to me.  I am so beyond grateful that she was mine and I was hers.  I miss her so much but I will do as she would want and keep going.  I will draw from the strength she instilled in me.  I will try every day to honor her with the way I live my life.  I will go on.

I love you Mom.  Thank you.  For everything.
