Betty's obituary

We are saddened to announce the passing of Mrs. Betty Mullen-Barr, who left this world on August 23, 2024. Born on September 23, 1936, her lifetime spanned nearly 88 years filled with love, wisdom, and unforgettable memories.

Betty was a loving wife, dedicated mother, caring sister, and a friend to many. She was predeceased by her beloved husbands, Phillip Mullen and Charles Barr. Their memories lived on in her heart and they will now reunite in eternity.

Surviving her are her devoted daughter Dorothy Lomax and her supportive son-in-law Robert Lomax. Her spirit will continue to live on through them. She is also survived by her sister Linda Walker, who will remember Betty's warm personality, wit, and enduring love for her family.

Betty had an insatiable enthusiasm for the world of literature. Her favorite pastime was reading or listening to audiobooks, losing herself in the worlds created by the words of authors. Her love for books was infectious and left an indelible mark on those around her.

She lived her life with grace and strength, showing us the true meaning of resilience and love. Her stories, her laughter, and her kindness will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew her. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the remarkable life she led and the wonderful legacy she leaves behind.

Rest in peace, Betty Mullen-Barr. Your memory will forever be etched in our hearts.
