Background
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that if you feel compelled to do so, you can donate to the Special Services Center in Betty Faye Mitchell's honor.
Around 1995, the Mitchell family chose to go in together to provide gifts & a party for the children at the Fyffe Special Services Center every year for Christmas instead of exchanging gifts at their own family Christmas. It is always something both Ray & Betty both felt was important and they loved singing and getting to see the kids so happy.
The funds raised in this memorial will be given directly to the DeKalb County Special Services center in Fyffe, AL to whatever they feel would be most useful. This could include playground equipment, facility improvements, learning devices, activity materials, etc.
If you would rather send a check, you may do so by making checks payable to Fyffe Special Services Center.
