Betty Askew Madison-Mason passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at the age of 76, in Silver Spring, Maryland. She was born January 30, 1946 in Nashville, Tennessee, second eldest daughter of the late Walter and Anita Madison. She is survived by her daughter Gina Smallwood of Takoma Park, MD; sister Judy Jordan, brother Alan Madison; three granddaughters, six great-grandchildren, niece, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Mason; daughter Lydia Raynor; and grandson Kelvin Smallwood-Jones. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Nativity Catholic Church, 6001 13th St NW, Washington, DC 20011. Interment private.
