Betty May Hyland Olson, age 96 died peacefully on May 5, 2023, at 8:15 PM.  Betty was born on December 22, 1926, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  The daughter of William and Grace Hyland.  She married the love of her life Harold G Olson, on May 6, 1949, Harold pre-deceased her on March 5, 2010.  She is survived by her three children, Cynthia (Paul Nelson), Bruce (Connie) Olson, Julie (Mike) Wood (Laursen), nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.  Preceded in death by son David Olson, and siblings: Bill, Irv, Dean, and Jeanine.  

Funeral Service for our Christian prayer warrior Betty Olson will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 11th, 2023, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 23290 MN-7, Excelsior, MN 55331 with visitation one hour prior to service at CHURCH—lunch to follow.

Private Family interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
