Betty's obituary

July 13, 1953 - July 21, 2024

On the evening of July 21, Betty J. Kutschera, 71, succumbed to cancer with her loving husband and daughter by her side. Betty spent her final days surrounded by loved ones.

Betty was born to Joel M. Johnson and Renata L. Olewinski (Kiel) in Colorado. At the age of 12, her family moved to Wisconsin. Betty spent most of her younger years raising her children and worked hard to support her family by selling Avon and waitressing. In her later years, Betty and her husband moved from New Berlin, WI  to start an organic farm in Amberg, WI. She was often found selling produce her husband had grown on their farm.

Betty was known for her infectious smile and loving personality. Oftentimes, Betty was seen as a mother figure to many of her children’s friends. She was always willing to help people who were in need and was an excellent listener. Betty loved the holidays and spending time with her family.

Betty is survived by her husband Timothy R., her children Theresa (Jerry), Timothy C. (Theresa), and Kevin (Amalia). She is also survived by her sisters Linda and Joelene. Betty left behind six grandchildren: Andrew, Matthew, Nik, Zali, Holden, and Aria; great grandchild Jonah and her two dogs, Macie and Ruby Sue. She is also survived by many relatives, family and friends.

Funeral will be held at Malcore (West) Funeral Home & Crematory at 1530 W Mason St. Green Bay, Wi, on August 10th, 2024. A visitation will be held at 11 a.m., followed by a service at noon.
