My sincere condolences to the Family of Betty Smith.  Betty will truly be missed. Betty embraced me as her daughter and taught me so much in the short time I got to know her, I say short time because 8 years with Betty was not enough time to absorbs all she had to give. So much wisdom she shared with me. I will always cherish the bear hugs she greeted me with and another before I left and my husband sharing with me, she never hugs anyone, that made me feel so very special.  Betty shared her recipes with Odie and I, we would giggle in the background how she would explain how to cut, dice, stir, hold the bowl or pot every little detail.  Betty did not deserve what happened to her, no-one  deserves what happened to our beloved.  Justice needs to be served.  You taught me to be strong & tough and to keep it moving. I will always love you and cherish every memory Betty Smith, until you and I meet again. Love your Daughter-in-love, Sherry Bowser-Smith.  Rest easy.
