I learned from her that life is short and we need to laugh more. She had a great sense of humor. She loved life and family.
How I loved BJ for 75+ years, my friend and also my bridesmaid. I recall so many wonderful memories of a true and loyal friend. My sympathy to all her family. Rest in Peace my dear and special friend. You will always be loved. Delores Peschel Dieatrick

Betty was an extraordinary lady.  I met her when I joined the Women of the Moose, and Steve and I enjoyed her friendship through the years.  We always enjoyed her quick wit and dry sense of humor.  She was the best kind of person to have for a friend.  We will miss her.    Arjean and Danielle, know that your Mom is still with you both in memory and spirit.  Our condolences to you both.

My condolences and love to Betty's family. I first met Betty by knowing her beautiful daughter, Arjean. I enjoyed the times Betty accompanied Arjean and me to a few concerts and when I visited Arjean when she was at her mom's in Cocoa.
We are very sorry for your loss. She was a neighbor and friend Lee and Betty Alfred
Arjean my sweet friend my heart is sad for you and Danielle.  May God comfort you now and in future times when you wish your mom was still here.  You have friends that love you and are here when you need us.
One time I was down in the keys for a visit. I was trying to break open a coconut with a machete. Betty looked at me with a crooked smile and said, "there are better ways to do that." I nodded my head and kept whacking away. She shook her head and went back inside. That same afternoon she came outside to see what I was up to. This time I was taking photos of the many beautiful hibiscus flower's in the yard. While I was clicking away fire ants climbed up my legs and started biting me. I started dancing around and she laughed. I was quite an experience. I was laughing as well in between the yelps. Betty's daughter Arjean and I have been friends since we were teenagers. Betty was always puzzled by the things I would do. Many times when i would look at her she had a quizzical look on her face. She was a gem to be sure.
I am so thankful fou r havung Ms Betty as a fruend since rhe 80's. Met her and her husband in Lafayette, La due to an oul spill nearby, and have been in contact ever since. I will treasure the time I went meet them in the keys for a short vacation. Ms Betty will be remembered always. Hugs and prayers foeff you Arjean and Danielle, just hold on to the memories.
