Betty's obituary
Betty Strelow, the only child of Jack and Dorothy Reigart was born in Visalia, California, January
1, 1931. She sadly lost her battle with cancer on September 1, 2025, in Laguna Woods at the age of 94.
Betty married Harvey Holsinger in 1951, and her daughter Kathy was born in 1953, and son
Robert in 1960. She was widowed in 1966 and married Reuben Strelow in 1979, then widowed
again in 2014.
Betty has been an active member of the Lutheran Church of the Cross for 46 wonderful years.
She lived by a Girl Scout Saying: “Make new friends but keep the old, One is silver and the
other is Gold!”
We will be having a Celebration of Life Memorial for her at the Lutheran Church of the Cross
Church located at 24231 El Toro Road, Laguna Woods, CA 92637 and also livestreamed from
the church for those unable to be present in person. Beginning at 11 am, Monday September
29, 2025
