Betty Ann Waggoner Grebe, 94, of Arlington/fort

Worth, Texas, passed away on September 23, 2025. She was born October 2, 1930, in Pecos, Texas, and was lovingly raised by Ella Matlock.

A 1947 graduate of Socorro High School, Betty built a life filled with hard work, laughter, and adventure. She worked many years for the DMV, Dr Marilyn Ternay, Six Flags, and most recently at Chick-fil-A, where she was cherished by coworkers and customers alike. Known for her warm smile and kind spirit, she touched countless lives everywhere she went.

Betty loved to travel and embraced every chance to see the world. In her younger years, she could be found dancing every weekend, her joy lighting up the room.

She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Vessells, and grandson, Ricky Vessells. She is survived by her sons Ron and Bill Vessells; her grandchildren Chelsie, Joanna, Kandyce, Courtney, and Kris Vessells; many great-grandchildren; and her best friend, travel companion, caretaker and admirer, Terry Simmons.

Betty was deeply loved and will be missed greatly by all who had the blessing of knowing her
