I was [ saddened ] when I heard the news of Betty's passing. We hadn’t spoken for a couple years but I thought of her often and wished I would have reached out to her. When I first met Betty I liked her right away. My daughter’s dad had just passed away during that time and I was hurting a lot. He was my best friend and losing him was sudden and I shared with Betty a little about what was going on at this time. She listened to every word and wrote a poem on how she felt I was feeling about Aaron. This poem was so special and the fact that she wrote it after just meeting me was incredible. Her talent was so great. She and I were friends for years ever since that day. I’ll always remember her and regret not getting to say goodbye. Rest in peace Betty you fought to live for a very long time and touch many people. ❤️ Becky G

Rip my little little

Betty was a strong woman,she was a go getter independent and a warrior.She always spoke about her kids and grand kids and how deeply she loved them. She would give the shirt off her back. She was a giver and had heart. I will always love you little Betty.

My deepest condolences to the family & other friends, I know she loved all of you so much!! Betty was my best childhood friend and we shared a lot over the 50 years we've known each other & oh the stories I could tell lol, but the greatest story is that she was one of a kind!! As most of you already know. I love & will miss you dearly Betty. You have been a beautiful friend, major encourager & irreplaceable. Thank you!!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know she fought a good fight & kept positive through it all. I'm thankful for the little time I was able to spend with her after my mom's passing and the words of encouragement she gave me. I regret not visiting or checking in as much as she did with me. My prayers and love to you and your family.
