Betty's obituary

We deeply mourn the loss of Betty Sheckler, who  passed away on February 1, 2025. Born on November 28, 1946, Betty lived a fulfilling and love-filled life. One could always count on her spontaneous humor, sarcasm, kindness, and warmth to light up any room.

Betty's wisdom and teachings were deeply rooted in the importance of family, a lesson she transferred to her surviving family members - her cherished daughter, Shannon Hunter; and her adored grandchildren, Akela Hunten and Adrian Hunter. Betty's love and influence will continue to echo in their lives, reflecting in their actions and memories.

As we remember Betty's life, we recall not just her departure but her lively spirit, the laughter she spread, and the love she shared. Her absence will be deeply felt, for her presence brought an irreplaceable joy to our lives.

We invite you to join us in a Celebration of Life for Betty to be held on March 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM. It is here that we will share and remember the wonderful moments that Betty added to our lives.

Even as we grieve, we are comforted by the knowledge that Betty's love and lessons continue to live within us. Her gift of laughter and love remains, reminding us to cherish every moment and every memory.
