Betty's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Donley Winget, a loving and precious soul, on May 5, 2025. Born on November 19, 1944, she filled the lives of those around her with an unending love and a sweet, genuine spirit.
Those who survive to preserve her memory include her cherished daughters: Michele Sheridan and Catherine Meagher, her devoted son, Paul Fritz, her adored grandchildren: Jeff, Kobe, and Nathan Brantley, Shannon Wagner, Victoria, Keilee, Olivia, and Charlotte Sheridan, E.J. Wilson, and Jasmine Fritz.
She joins in eternal rest her dear father, Forrest Donley, her loving mother, Anita Carol Donley, her nurturing stepmother, Libby Donley, her beloved brother, Keith Donley, her devoted son, Shawn Meagher, her cherished granddaughter, Christina Meagher, and her son-in-law, Phil Wagner.
We also acknowledge the enduring love of her son-in-law, Jon Sheridan, who continues to be a pillar of strength for the family.
Known for her strength and soulful nature, Betty's greatest accomplishment was indeed her family. She taught us to love unconditionally, a lesson we will carry forward as her enduring legacy. Her legacy of love, kindness, and strength will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched. She will be greatly missed and loved by everyone whose lives she touched.
We invite those who wish to honor Betty's memory to join us for a Celebration of Life on May 24, 2025, at 8:00 PM at the Jackson Springs Community Center.
We will remember Betty as a beacon of love and strength, a woman whose love and kindness enriched our lives. Her spirit will continue to shine in us, and her memory will forever bring warmth to our hearts.
