Betty Joan Caskey, 82, of Garnett, SC passed away on May 7, 2024 at The Colony Health Care Center. She was born on April 11, 1942 in Tallmadge, OH, and was raised by late parents Carl and Veronica Smith. She was a proud grandma and loved her ”babies.” She also had a love for crocheting and made sure her grandkids and their families each got a personalized blanket.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her late husband of 30 years Arnie, sister Aleta Polk, brother, Forrest “Bill” Hilbish II; and great grandson Patrick Greene. 

Betty is survived by her children Carla (Cliff) Peterson; Crestlynn (Rich) Frasier; Rodney (Leslie) Pritchard; grandchildren Cristin (Matt) Nickless, Ryan (Rachel) Peterson, Nicolas (Christa) Young, Nathan (Angela) Wesig, Delaney Wesig, Reagan Wesig, Megan (Bill) Preston, Rodney Pritchard, and Morgan (Aaron) Garlick; several great-grandchildren; and siblings Anita (Dan), Mark (Sherrie), Walter "Keith" (Janice) and John (Lorrie) Hilbish; sister-in-Law Jo Hilbish and their families.
