Betty's obituary

Betty Jo Faulk Campen, age 71 of Myrtle Beach, passed away on November 19th, 2021, after a short illness. Betty was born on August 5, 1950, to the late Fernie Everett Faulk and Hattie Mae Faulk. She was predeceased by her brother Gregory Steven Faulk in 1996.

Betty loved to be on the water either on their own boat or on a cruise ship and always with her wonderful husband of 50 years, Jim, by her side. If she wasn’t on the water, they were on their deck enjoying the sunset or just watching the birds and her favorite raccoons "Rocky & Roxanne" explore the yard and bird feeders. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Campen and their children Jamie (Darby) Campen, Amy (Jacob) DuPre. She had six grandchildren that she loved dearly Allura, Ayden, Luke, Jack, Maggie, and Andy. Also, her two remaining brothers Wayne Faulk and Dennis Faulk and many nieces and nephews who will always remember her smiling face and her love for everyone she ever got the pleasure to meet. Family was everything to her.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life for her on Saturday, December 11th at 1pm at the Forestbrook Clubhouse on Forestbrook Rd. in Myrtle Beach. Guest Book available at MyrtleBeachFuneralHome.com.
