Betty Baker was born at 6 pm, December 4, 1937 in Howard Township, Iowa.  She is preceded in death by her parents Dale and Lillian Curphy.  She is survived by her sister, Marjorie Donahue of Marshalltown, Iowa.  Three children: Tara (Mike) Evans of Sierra Vista AZ, Kimberly Henderson of Weatherford TX, and Beverly Roof of Wynona OK,  7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She lived in Denver, Colorado much of her life and moved to Sierra Vista, Arizona in September of 1999.  Betty was an avid nature enthusiast with a draw to the Wild West and John Wayne.  She enjoyed sketching, writing short stories and poetry, as well as playing several different types of card games.

Betty passed away September 26th at Haven of Sierra Vista with Tara at her side.
