Mrs. Betty Ann Morris was granted her angel wings in Austin,

Texas on Wednesday, October 07, 2015 at the age of 78 while

surrounded by family.

Betty was born to parents Rodigo and Helen Lugo on July 26,

1938 in San Francisco, CA. In 1969, Betty married the love of

her life, Jerry Don Morris in San Jose, CA. They shared many

beautiful moments with their children by their side.

Betty received her registered Nursing degree from Gavilan

College and went on to receive her BS in nursing. She touched

many lives working in ICU neonate, working with premature

babies. Later in years, she worked in Hospice helping the very

sick through their final days and assisting the families with

end of life decisions. Betty was a gifted artist and leaves

100+ paints to share with family and friend. She had a

passion for animals, and shared her life with her dogs and

cats. Betty had a great sense of humor and a smile that

could light up a room. Betty is survived by her husband

Jerry Don; daughters, Julie Alva, Hele Bergold and Jackie

Young; her son, Arthur King Jr. and seventeen grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son, Anthony Alva; her

daughter, Jennielynn Breslauer and her parents, Rodigo and

Helen Lugo.
