Bettie was a disabled veteran from the beginning of her tour in the Navy. She worked hard to overcome and persevere despite the lifelong back pain that followed an injury sustain in her basic training. The VA has been very supportive to her during the last 20 years and she was always very grateful for their support. Contribute to Arbor Day Foundation
