Dear family and friends, please join us in memorializing Bette: our mother, grandmother, sister, and cousin--our queen. Our Bette was known for her outrageous laughter, her incredible sense of fashion and style, and her passionate heart. She spread joy and brought happiness and light to everyone. She was known for her philanthropic work with the Links organization and her community involvement with the Bethel AME Church of San Francisco. She shared in real life a passionate Hollywood love story with her husband, Randy Scott. Bette was a fighter and lived her life on her on terms. She was 92. We are buoyed by the blessings God gave us...and take comfort in the additional time we shared with her during her final days on the East coast. She lived a full life and enjoyed being here with us, but she really missed Randy. We know they are happy to be reunited. He was her one true love.
