I had just been with the twins over the summer at The Dead and Company shows, with Egan her daughter, and Bernie's daughter Hopi. I had not seen Beat in a few year since I left Woodstock to join my daughter in Hawaii. I loved Beat, she was a firecracker, she had a heat of gold, My heat goes out to Sage, Egan, their families, Bernice, and her family., Saying a prayer for all of you. May Beat's soul live on.
