Bethann Stage Corney, known affectionately as Beth, passed away on March 6, 2024, in Lincolnton, North Carolina. Born on August 2, 1961, in Elmer, New Jersey, she spent many years delighting those around her with her exceptional baking skills, a passion she cherished throughout her life.

Beth's love extended beyond her immediate surroundings through her famous Christmas cookies, which she joyously shared with family via mail, ensuring that distance never hindered the warm connections she fostered, especially with her grandchildren.

Beth leaves behind a loving family: her mother, Gloria; sisters, Patti and Sherrie and husband Billy; brother, John. Her legacy continues through her children, Carl Corney and wife Jessica, Christopher Corney and wife Melissa, and daughter Kate Gonzales and husband Matt. Beth was a cherished grandmother to Henry, Cassandra, and Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her father, Leslie.

A private family funeral will be held in September in New Jersey, honoring Beth's wishes and celebrating her life where it began. Her warmth, kindness, and the joy she brought to life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
