Biography #2.

Beth Ann Quigley was born on September 25, 1975 to Louella and Gene Quigley in Lincroft, NJ.

She had a sister, Suzanne. She lived in New York City, NY. Beth attended and graduated from Red Bank Catholic High School in 1993 and the College of the Holy Cross in 1997 with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Spanish. She spent her junior year of college studying abroad at the University of Seville in Spain, specializing in Spanish literature and culture. Beth loved life and was very happy with where it had led her. She was known to be constantly smiling and laughing, and she made friends wherever she went. Beth loved skiing, waterskiing, and holding dinner parties for friends at her apartment. She enjoyed reading the Wall Street Journal every morning before reporting to her job at Cantor Fitzgerald.

She was especially close with her sister, Suzanne.

Beth had plans to continue her education and had just begun part-time night classes at New York University's Stern School of Business to earn her Master's degree weeks before the attacks. Beth was described by her friends and family as loyal, loving, happy, and generous.

Beth worked as a NASDAQ trader for Cantor Fitzgerald on the 104th floor of the World Trade Center's North Tower. She started working for Cantor in April of 1998 after being recruited by the firm at her college in November of 1997 and completing their licensing and trading program.

Beth loved working at Cantor and working with the stock market, and she made a lot of friends at the firm. On the morning of September 11, 2001, Beth was working on the 104th floor when Flight 11 struck the North Tower, leaving her floor and all of Cantor's offices above the impassable impact zone. Sadly, none of the firm's attending employees survived, including Beth. Though her life was unfairly taken on September 11th, Beth lives on forever in the precious memories she made while she was here and the loving legacy she leaves behind. She will never be forgotten.
