Personal note

On 4/1/22 my lifelong pal Beth Ranger Armstrong passed away. My bold, beautiful, outspoken friend left us to bless a different world with her presence. I was lucky having had the privilege of knowing Beth since we were 12. At no point in our lives did Beth and I lose touch, throughout all my travels and moves, and her retirement to Florida. Beth leaves many true friends behind, many begun during her 35+ Years at FedEx and those of us who grew up together from the Boston area. Beth was a great letter writer, a rare skill these days. . She would write about the joys and hassles going on in her world, always truthful whether it was painful, humorous, mundane; sharing stories about her friends and family, and being a mother. She adored her son and brought Steven out to CA when he was little and I would visit her whenever I went to FL. Beth possessed a bold nature, she was her own girl, she became her own woman, she never tried to fit into any club or clique, and she didn’t follow rules that she believed were arbitrary. Beth left us too young, at only 67. The sad tragedy is that her first grandchild, due in May, is deprived of the opportunity to know her. Please share a memory, a story, a picture, a prayer, through which this newest addition to her family can get to know her. Her son Steven is planning a celebration of Beth’s life and I will post that information when it’s available.
