Ms. Bertha Sue Stanley passed away peacefully on Monday, October 22, 2018 in Atlantic City, NJ at the age of 59.

Bertha Sue Stanley was born on January 1, 1959 in Atlantic City, NJ to David and Lucille Stanley. She attended Atlantic City public schools. Bertha worked as a childcare provider for many years. Her children remember her as a kind, gentle, loving mother.

Bertha is survived by her 3 children, Afonda, William Sr., and David; Also survived by 6 grandchildren, Khyree, Ahree, Kamil, Aaron, Jahney, and William Jr. Her sister Catherine and brother William as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Lucille Stanley, brothers, David Stanley, Franklin Stanley, and Peanut Stanley, as well as her sister, Mary Prather (Stanley).

Bertha was a generous and dedicated individual who loved Children and who was passionate about her beliefs.

A funeral is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Mikal’s Funeral Home, with a reception to follow at Shore Park Hi Rise. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bertha's life.
