Mike and I send our deepest condolences to the Schwenck family for the loss of dear Bernie. Although I didn't know her well, her devotion to Community Presbyterian Church has been felt throughout the San Juan Capistrano valley. For decades, it seemed that every preschool-aged toddler was attending Community Presbyterian Preschool, including ours! The church members I have met over the years have always been kind, respectful and reflecting the love of Christ. For this reason, I knew something special was happening at CPC and suspect it had Bernie's handprints all over it. May the peace of Christ rest in your heart as you navigate this new season without her. Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ, for the gift of Bernie here in our valley and for the gift of eternal life!

Even all these years later since I've left and moved away- my memories with Bernie at CPC were always fond and she loved on me well alongside all the other church grandmas
