Bernadette Louise Van-Wie Bien, 76, of Winfield, Illinois sadly left us on the evening of February 19, 2023 following complications of pneumonia. Loving wife of Harold Bien, dear mother to sons Brian Bien and Mark Bien, devoted grandmother to Heather Bien and Jacob Bien and great grandson Jaxson Torres, caring sister to Charlene Williams, Dorothy Thompson, Donald Van-Wie (Sue), Helen Van-Wie Mitchell (late), Kenny Van-Wie (late) and Robert Van-Wie (late), and aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Bernadette’s greatest pleasure was spending time with her loved ones and she had a knack for giving the best advice to those in need. She always knew how to lift your spirits when you were feeling down and went out of her way to check in with others. She put her family first above all else and will be missed dearly by all.
