All the siblings did a meditation on Zoom offering silence to connect to the Divine within us and also with Bernie.  She and I shared the same Zordiac .  When she was around 4 or 5 years old , we . all the sisters other than Molia and Celia were together sleeping in the INfirmary of a Passionate Nuns English Boarding School in Buenos Aires!  Every morning both Bernie and I struggled to wake up let alone getting ready for Breakfast! How freeing it is to cherish the Silence

We love this photo of Auntie Bernie. It captures how we remember her even as she battled on. Her child-like wonder, joy and gratefulness lifted the spirit of all those around her . We will miss her.

Bernie and I were members of a team from our laboratory to visit counterpart clinical labs in Japan. This was in the early-mid 1990’s.

On that trip with Bernie we traveled from New Jersey to the opposite side of the earth; our team explored new places; we saw new systems of laboratory operations; we asked questions – Bernie was at the forefront of those asking questions; we ate new foods; we saw new sights; we learned; and we enjoyed laughter.

I remember that Bernie brought energy, focus, self-confidence and scientist’s passion for discovery on that journey. And that was Bernie.

It was a memorable experience for me and I am grateful to have been able to share it with Bernie.

Jenn and Chris,
We are so saddened by your loss. Bernie was a warm, loving and generous woman who always brightened our day whenever we were in her presence. She will truly be missed. Rick and I will be keeping you and your entire family in our thoughts and our prayers.
Love,
Aunt Cindy and Rick
I offer my condolences to the family. I am so sorry for the loss of your love one. May Jehovah gives you the strength to deal with the loss. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will no more, neither will mourning, not ourcry, nor pain be anymore. Revelation 21: 4
