Bernadette's obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Bernadette Bryson on February 22, 2024. Born on November 7, 1937, Bernadette lived a life full of love, intelligence, and quiet grace.
Bernadette was known for her quiet, shy demeanor, the brilliance of her intellect, and her remarkable politeness and excellent manners. Despite her innate modesty, she made significant impacts with her wisdom and steadfastness. She regularly imparted lessons to those around her, emphasizing the importance of persistence and removing any notion of impossibility from one's vocabulary.
She found immense joy in her career as a preschool teacher, where her love for teaching and her profound connection with children blended seamlessly. Her warmth, patience, and dedication made her a beloved figure in the hearts of numerous young lives she helped shape.
1973 was a remarkable year for Bernadette as it marked the beginning of her marital journey with her beloved husband, Bill. They cultivated a bond built on respect, understanding, and mutual adoration. In 2008, Bernadette achieved a significant milestone in her academic career when she earned her Master's degree in Psychology, further highlighting her deep-seated passion for understanding and guiding the human mind.
Bernadette was a devoted mother of five children, one of whom she sadly lost in 1997 and in 2015. Despite the immense grief, she remained strong and continued to foster an environment of love and nurture for her remaining children - daughters Corrie and Elizabeth, and son Emerson. Bernadette's legacy lives on not only through her children but also her 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Bernadette's unexpected passing has left a void that can never be filled. Her gentle spirit, intelligence, love for learning, and unwavering dedication to her family will be deeply missed.
