What I learned from my father’s side of the family was that he was a good man and he loved me very much. I didn’t get to meet him because of certain circumstances, but I know he thought and talked about me. I just wish I could have met him before he passed away, he will always hold a special place in my heart. And I hope I can always make him proud and he sees from Heaven that I loved him very much.

This is so heartbreaking. I never got to meet my father, but it doesn’t hurt any less to know your father passed away. Would have loved to have meet him, but now it won’t ever happen. I don’t even know my dads side of the family either. I love you dad. May you rest in peace.
