On July 21, 1962, a child was born to the proud parent of Bennie and Fannie Jones of Winnfield, LA; They Named him Bennie Jones Green.

Bennie attended the Winnfield public system. He was baptized at an early age at Pilgrim rest Missionary Baptist Church. He later moved to True Vine Baptist Church.

On Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Bennie Jones Green departed this life. He is greeted by his father, Bennie Jones (Wyatt), and His mother, Fannie B. Jones, Brother Raymond Jones and Roy Green, Sisters Brenda Jones Robinson and Marilyn Green Jackson, and four nephews, Aaron Hardwell, Kendrick Green, Rufus Green, and Michael Green.

He leaves to mourn his death a loving and devoted wife, Angela Scott Green, and Seven daughters, Kenya Green (Atlanta, Georgia), Alisha Roberson Woods (Lamon) (Monroe LA) (Rashondra Williams,(Port Gibson MS), Charmayne Scott (Baton Rouge, LA) Latasha Scott,(Baton Rouge LA) Tiffany Scott(Shreveport LA) and Shakyra Barnes (Shreveport LA) and one son Tyron Dailey, (Baton Rouge LA) Six sister, Mary Helen Green, (Winnfield LA), Shirley Mccoy, (Austin TX), Johnny Joyce Green, (Waycross GA), Marilyn Faye Blunt, (Pineville LA), Sandra Calhoun, (Baton Rouge, LA) Roberta (Shelia) Robinson, (Colfax, LA), Two Brothers, Stanley Jones (Houston TX), Ervin Green (Winnfield), very special niece Tenondra Robinson, (Austin Tx) he called her baby eyes, and she called him dad, a very special friend John Anderson, and a host nieces’ nephews, family, and friends that will greatly miss him.
