As a friend of Rachel, I remember before Ben found his way into Laurel, Sarah, and Rachel's lives. He filled a gap in my best friend's heart that needed the love that he gave freely.

He was a fun and gentle soul to be around, and  it makes me sad that I had not gotten to spend more time with him....but I am far more sad for those who had more time with him as I know that they are missing him very much.

I recently reconnected with Ben after many years. It was just like we just talked yesterday. I am so very happy I was able to talk with him before he passed. He was indeed a “gentle giant” and a good man! May your memories of him and the time you shared get you through this troubled time. I love you Andrea, Kim, and Heather (and families)! Laurel, I did not know you but thank you for making Ben happy. I know he loved you dearly. My deepest condolences to you all. - Bobbi Monroe
