Benjamin Gerald Shaw

   Benjamin Gerald Shaw (Ben) was born in Seattle, Washington, on July 19, 1975. He passed away unexpectedly at his home in Everett, Washington, on January 23, 2026.

   Ben's first love in life was being a disciple of Jesus Christ. He loved the Lord, his family, his friends, the Seattle Mariners, Seattle Seahawks, bingo, Garfield, lasagna, and cheesecake, "in that order, Mom!"

   Before medical issues caused limitations, Benjamin was a skilled trombone player, an Eagle Scout, and a member of the Order of the Arrow. His dreams were to become a Seattle Mariner and a math teacher. He never stopped believing that someday the Lord would heal him completely so he would be able to fulfill those dreams. 

   Benjamin is survived by his parents, Jerome E. Shaw and Robin D. (Poore) Shaw of Camden, SC; his sister, Charlotte M. Shaw of Camden, SC; nephew, Colton Guy; niece, Zella Guy; many, many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends who all loved him dearly, including his second family at Friendship Adult Family Home who loved him and cared for him so well. Ben was a joy and a blessing to all who knew him. We look forward to the day we will be reunited with him, whole and healed, in heaven.
