Benjamin's obituary

Benjamin Lee Schaeffer, Jr. passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 29. His kind heart, generous soul, and contagious laughter will be dearly missed by everyone whose lives he touched.

Benjamin was born on May 11, 1993, in Houston, Texas to Ben and Kelly Schaeffer. He lived in Alvin, Texas with close family and friends. At the age of 3, the family moved to Crockett, Texas, where he spent most of his childhood and graduated from Crockett High School in 2012. Benjamin took great pride working in the roofing industry, where he enjoyed the people and friends he met along the way.

He loved growing up on the family ranch, 3S Cattle Company, where he spent many hours working and showing cattle with his dad, grandfather, uncle, and siblings. He also enjoyed playing baseball throughout his high school years and into college. Benjamin was a member of First Baptist Church Tyler. In his adult years, he enjoyed playing golf, going to the lake, fishing, and hunting.

Benjamin was the proud father of 3 year old Bransen Lee Schaeffer. He treasured every moment of being a dad. They loved spending most of their time exploring the outdoors and taking long naps together.

Benjamin is survived by parents Ben and Kelly Schaeffer. Son, Bransen Lee Schaeffer. Siblings/Spouses; Natalie and Bo Martino, Matthew and Tiffani Schaeffer, Madison and Josiah Rosebury. Nephews, Bauer, Brooks, Beckett, Baker and other numerous relatives.
