I worked with Ben at UVU and we became friends. He was the heart and soul of our friend group. Playing games and hanging out. He help me move into my house and came over for dinner a few times. His conversation was top notch and I valued his point of views. Always loving, even when we disagreed on things. I will miss him. Untill we meet again.

Ben was sincerely one of my favorite people. I met him through my wife Mandi Mendenhall, and we quickly became friends. Over the years we would chat often and send each other leftist memes over Instagram. We last chatted just a few days before he unexpectedly passed. I have deeply felt his loss, and I have often shed a tear when I saw a meme that I know Ben would've found hilarious, but I couldn't send it to him now. We'll leave a chair for him at every Lord of the Rings party we'll ever do. And if there's ever an uprising, I'll yell "For Ben" as we storm the castle. 🤍
