This news is devastating. Ben was a light and made a lasting impression on me I will never forget, even in the short time I spent with him. He taught me a new meaning of courage and what it means to live life! I think of him often, and will continue to do so- I’ll continue to pray for his amazing parents and sister, who never left his side and never stopped advocating for him.

I remember Ben as a little boy. Full of fun jumping in the pool. Playing ball in the hallway. He was a bright kind gentle young man. He will be missed so much.
