Benjamin's obituary
We celebrate the life of Benjamin Paul Hytrek, who left this earth too soon but filled his years with kindness, energy, and a generous spirit. Benjamin was known for his big heart and his willingness to jump in and help at a moment’s notice. He was the kind of person who acted out of love first, always eager to make someone’s day easier or brighter.
Benjamin proudly served 15 years in the United States Air Force, where he developed lifelong friendships and a sense of dedication that carried through the rest of his life. Whether at work, at home, or among friends, he was never one to sit still—he believed in doing, helping, and being there when people needed him.
He was a loving father to five children, they brought joy to his life, and he treasured each of them deeply.
Benjamin is survived by his parents, Karen and Paul Hytrek, his brothers Jerry and Daryl, and his sisters Cherene and Shirley. His family remembers him as someone with a warm smile, a caring personality, and a natural eagerness to show up for others. His spontaneous, go-for-it nature brought laughter, stories, and memorable moments everyone will hold close.
He enjoyed good company, hands-on projects, and simple everyday joys. Benjamin lived life with heart—moving with compassion, humor, and a genuine desire to help the people he loved.
Though his time here was shorter than we hoped, Benjamin made a lasting impact. His caring spirit, his energy, and the love he gave so freely will continue to live on through his children and family.
