It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Benjamin "Benny" Gomez, who entered eternal rest on December 28, 2023. Born on July 19, 1984, Benjamin was truly a unique soul who exuded a fun, smart, and sarcastic demeanor that was greatly appreciated by his family and friends.

Surviving him are his devoted mother, Irma Latalladi, his supportive step-father, Santiago Bautista, and his loving siblings; Leilany Gomez, Cristian Gomez, Michael Gomez, and Alexander Gomez. Benjamin was not only a marvelous brother, but also a loving husband, having wedded in 2008, and an exceptional father, having welcomed his child into the world in 2009.

Benjamin had an appetite for life both literally and figuratively. He enjoyed the simple culinary pleasures of Rice and Chicken, and relished a refreshing Iced Tea. His love for music was apparent, often found grooving to Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling". His cinematic taste was sophisticated, having "The Matrix" as one of his favorite films. He ardently supported the Eagles and found joy in engaging in games, with Monopoly, PS5, Connect 4 and Jenga ranking high amongst his favorites.

When it came to recreation, nothing compared to the time Benjamin spent with his family. His favorite vacation spot was the tranquil and lush Costa Rica, which perfectly mirrored his favored green hues. Sci-fi movies were his preferred performances to watch, yet another testament to his fun and slightly eccentric personality.

Throughout his life, Benjamin, the best brother, father, and son anyone could ask for, upheld and propagated the mantra to "Be Happy". Life will not be the same without his presence, but we are assured that his vivacious spirit and cherished memories will continue to live within us.

In honor of Benjamin, we remember not only his endearing persona but also his undeniable influence on our lives. He left an indelible mark on our hearts, and his life's journey, enriched with love, laughter, and wisdom, will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. Rest in peace, Benjamin "Benny" Gomez.
